Coming on board in October of 2000 as one of two
guitarists in Last Call, Pete has definitely made his mark. He was born into a
musical family that no doubt, gave him an attraction to music. He followed his
uncle's lead in choosing to learn the guitar at the age of 10. While he is sure
he got something out of those music lessons he took, he lost interest in playing
until the music scene turned toward Jimmy Hendrix, the Beatles, and the Rolling
Stones. During this time, he bought his first electric guitar from a mail order
catalog and his guitar passion was born. Pete is also an accomplished bass
guitarist having taught bass to the bassists in his very first bands. He had
numerous small bands in the early days, but played full-time in the band,
Whisper, in the early '70s. Pete claims that his early influences were the
Monkees (yes the Monkees!), the Beatles, the Stones, with his all-time biggest
influence being Jimmy Hendrix. He is still partial to that big guitar sound
today and enjoys the likes of Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Santana, ABBA, Skynyrd,
Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bill Gibbs of ZZ Top, and of course, Hendrix. Pete can be
found pickin' and grinnin' at his home in Turnersville, NJ.
