Bass player, Tony Conte, does a mighty fine job keeping the bass line intact and humming while singing
back-up vocals as well. He started playing guitar back in 1963, but took up the
bass guitar about 10 years ago. He can pound out a few chords on the keyboard as
well. Tony started his musical career by joining Thunderstruck from 1988 to 1992. He jumped ahead to join Riot
Act from 1992 to 1999 before taking the big plunge into "Last Call"
territory in October of 2000. While Tony credits many bands such as the Beatles,
CCR, Chicago, Transit Authority, Jimmy Hendrix, Robin Trower, the Allman Bros.
Band, Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd for influencing his music, he says his
biggest influence was Doug Pinneck of King's X. He is an avid music lover,
citing all of the above bands, and Creed and Motorhead, as his ear candy.
